About This Website
Hi!
Thanks for visiting. This page will give you some idea of who I am and what I’m doing, possibly also about what you’re doing here (no guarantees there, though). If you get lost, clicking on the top banner (all the happy flowers) will take you back to home. If you have any other questions, you can reach me by leaving a comment or emailing the following address.

This Website and Me
This started out as a place for me to inform the homefront about what I was getting up to during my exchange in Australia. After I returned to the Netherlands (where I was born and raised) I realised I enjoyed it too much to give it up. By now, I’ve moved to England to do an MA, so it’s become a handy tool once again. As a consequence, you will (still) be confronted with random musings, pictures or photoshop experiments.
In short, MissLeonie.com is a place for me to post about everything that’s keeping me busy - to keep you busy!
I am a 21-year-old university student. I did a very broad BA, studying literature, linguistics, history and rhetoric, but also Spanish, French, journalism, psychology and sociology. I even did a course in maths! I’ve just moved countries again, this time to Nottingham, England, to further my postgraduate ambitions. Ambitions that are wholly overwhelmed by the whole MA thing, I must add. It’s terrifying, but really interesting.
In my spare time, I write, I take photos and I try my hand at painting. I like chocolate, pizzas and curries; but also salads, fruit and veggies.
This website wouldn’t be up without the help of my boyfriend Liam, who has had to endure many a desperate outcry for coding help and occasionally receives emails asking about the possibility of maybe putting this there, or making that blue, or disappear, and how does Photoshop work again? He was also kind enough to get this Wordpress thing going.
All graphics are made using my own photos, unless otherwise indicated. All photos after 20 October 2006 were taken with the Panasonic DMC-FZ7. I do sometimes use the camera in my phone, but I generally make a note of it when I do.
Have a look around and feel free to say hi in the comments! :)
